Temple Square

Last Sunday we took the opportunity to go up to Temple Square (or the square temple, as Jefferson called it) as a family, since Nate needed to drop by his office for something. It was the first real time, I think, that we had taken the kids there and it was a nice (and free!) family activity. We caught an acoustics demo in the tabernacle (which Nate and I were more impressed by than we had remembered from previous demos) and visited the many water features. We went inside the North Visitor's Center and checked out all of the paintings of Christ's ministry and the Christus. Jefferson said his favorite part of the trip was "all of the waters and the Jesus pictures." Having the stroller with us did limit us a bit, since we weren't easily able to get up on all the different walkways around the Conference Center and couldn't get to the upper portions of the waterfall, but Jefferson got over it. It was a nice (mostly) peaceful trip. Here are some pics (taken with my phone since I accidentally forgot our camera):

(For the first picture my phone decided that the Conference Center was the focus, not Jefferson. Lovely.)
